Professional podcast studio Glasgow
Why record in a professional podcast studio?
Your home setup can record sound. A professional studio captures something people want to watch, hear and take seriously.
The difference shows up in the audio, the video, the guest experience, the social clips and the speed at which your content actually gets published.
hour maximum turnaround for standard file delivery after recording.
1–4camera recording options for podcasts, interviews and video-first content.
The honest case
Your microphone is fine. Your room is the problem.
Most podcasters buy a decent microphone and assume that is the job done. It is not.
The microphone captures the room. If the room has hard walls, traffic noise, laptop fans, echo, reverb or unpredictable background sound, that becomes part of your podcast.
A professional studio removes the problems at source. The room is treated. The levels are monitored. The cameras are framed. The lighting is built for video. The recording workflow is handled by someone who does this every day.
That means better sound, better video, less stress and a final file that is much closer to being ready to publish.
Six reasons that matter
What a professional studio actually gives you.
These are not abstract quality arguments. Each one affects how your podcast sounds, how it looks, how your guests feel and how easy it is to turn the recording into usable content.
Acoustics that cannot be faked
Acoustic treatment reduces the reflections, bass buildup and room noise that make home recordings sound amateur.
Broadcast-quality video
Proper cameras, lighting and framing give your podcast a more polished look for YouTube, LinkedIn and short-form clips.
A producer in the room
You can focus on the conversation while we manage levels, cameras, recording and the technical side of the session.
Files ready faster
We deliver balanced audio, colour-corrected video and switched files quickly, reducing the post-recording backlog.
Social content potential
A well-recorded episode gives you stronger source material for clips, quote posts, Shorts, Reels and LinkedIn content.
A better guest experience
Guests take the recording more seriously when they arrive somewhere that feels calm, professional and prepared.
The kit
What you are recording with at Podcast Studio Glasgow.
Every part of the setup is chosen to make recording easier, cleaner and more useful after the session.
Blackmagic camera setups
Record with one, two, three or four cameras depending on the level of production your podcast or campaign needs.
Live-switched recording
For multi-camera sessions, we can switch angles live so the final video needs less timeline work afterwards.
Multitrack audio capture
Clean microphone capture with individual tracks available when you want more control in post-production.
Studio lighting and branding
Use RGB lighting and studio screens to match your brand, show logo or episode identity.
Autocue available
Add autocue for direct-to-camera content, VSLs, scripted explainers and marketing videos.
Remote guest support
Bring remote guests into studio recordings using Riverside, with better capture than a standard video call.
Direct-to-camera content
Use autocue when the words need to land cleanly.
The autocue is useful for scripted marketing videos, explainers, direct-to-camera brand pieces and sales content.
Send the script in advance and we can load it before your session. You maintain eye contact with the lens while reading, rather than looking down at notes or slightly off-camera.
It is available as an add-on for video marketing bookings.

Post-recording workflow
What happens after you leave the studio.
One of the biggest reasons podcasts stall is not recording. It is the production backlog. Our workflow is designed to get your episode from recorded to usable as quickly as possible.
Capture
Camera angles and audio are captured cleanly, with the session monitored throughout.
Audio
We balance the audio and prepare files so they are easier to publish or edit.
Colour
Video files are corrected so they look professional rather than flat or unfinished.
Deliver
Files are delivered by secure transfer, normally within the agreed turnaround window.
Repurpose
Add social clips or editing support when you want the episode turned into more content.
Scottish Podcast Awards 2026
Client podcasts recorded at PSG received industry recognition.
The point is not that every podcast needs an award. The point is that production quality changes how seriously a show is taken by audiences, guests, clients and the wider industry.

Home vs studio
What you are actually comparing.
Room acoustics
Hard walls, echo, background noise and rooms that were never designed for recording.
Controlled studio spaces built around clean audio capture and better video production.
Video quality
Webcam energy, inconsistent lighting and limited framing options.
Multi-camera recording, studio lighting and professional framing.
Post-production effort
You still need to edit, grade, balance, export and solve technical issues.
You leave with cleaner files and a workflow designed to get content published faster.
Guest impression
The guest experience depends entirely on your own setup.
The room, kit and production process signal that the content matters.
“The question is not whether a professional studio is better. It is whether the difference matters to your audience. It usually does.”
Mark Hunter, Co-founder, Podcast Studio Glasgow
Common questions
What people ask before their first session.
What should I expect when I arrive?
You will receive instructions before your session. When you arrive, we welcome you, show you the room, set levels, frame cameras and get you comfortable before recording starts.
Do you edit my recording?
Standard recording sessions include preparation of the captured files. Full episode editing, social clips and wider post-production can be added separately.
What files will I receive?
That depends on your booking, but video sessions can include switched video files, audio files and additional camera files where required.
Can I display my logo?
Yes. Send your logo in advance and we can display it on the studio screens. Studio lighting can also be adjusted to suit your brand colours.
Can I book regularly?
Yes. Many clients record on a regular schedule. We can help you find a repeat booking pattern that suits your production rhythm.
