The problem

Most remote podcasts sound remote.

You've got guests worth listening to. Maybe they're across the UK. Maybe they're abroad. Maybe getting everyone into a studio just adds friction you don't need.

What you don't have is the infrastructure — the monitoring, the editing chops, the time to turn a Zoom call into something people actually finish listening to.

Most remote podcasts sound remote. Compressed audio, sync issues, dead air, and a host doing post-production instead of running the business.

This is not a Zoom recording service.

This is a production workflow for people who want remote conversations to sound intentional, polished and professional.

What we do

We record the conversation. Then we make it sound like a podcast.

We record your conversation via Riverside. Multi-track audio and video, properly captured. One of our team monitors the session in real time.

Then we edit it — levels synced, pacing fixed, social clips extracted. You publish something that sounds like you had a crew.

We've been recording podcasts since 2005. We've worked with Scottish Water, NHS Scotland and Scottish Drug Forum. We know what professional sounds like.

What is included

Remote podcast production without the usual remote podcast problems.

01

Riverside recording

Multi-track audio and video captured properly, so each speaker has cleaner source files for editing.

02

Real-time monitoring

One of our team monitors the session, watches for issues and keeps the recording workflow moving.

03

Proper editing

We sync, balance, clean up and tighten the conversation so it feels like a finished episode, not a raw call.

04

Social clips

Strong moments can be extracted for short-form content, giving you more value from every recording.

The process

You talk. We handle the production.

Pick a date and time

We confirm the recording slot and what you are trying to capture.

02

Guests get briefed

We send your guests a simple tech briefing. Five minutes. Nothing scary.

04

We edit and deliver

The episode is edited, polished and delivered ready to publish.

Credibility marker

Scotland's first podcaster. Twenty years of studios. Same team that built Podcast Studio Glasgow.

Remote recording is still podcast production. The kit changes, but the judgement does not. Pacing, sound, structure, guest comfort and edit decisions still matter.

That is where experience shows. We have been recording, producing and publishing podcasts since 2005, and we bring that same production standard to virtual podcast projects.

Quick answers

Questions before you record.

What do we need on our end?

Just yourself and your guest on Riverside. We handle the rest.

How long does it take?

Typically 10–14 days from recording to delivery.

Can the host record from home too?

Yes. This page is for fully virtual podcast recording, where the host and guest can both join remotely.

What if the host wants to record in the studio?

We also offer remote podcast recording where the host records in our Glasgow studio and the guest joins remotely. See that option here.
